This friendly little bison in Yellowstone National Park came wandering up close to the vans we went up in and posed for each van so we could each get a good picture from within the vans. It was the most considerate bison I have ever seen. Let’s name him, how about Tyson the friendly Bison?
This is Mt. Haynes, if you are a fan of Parks and Rec, you’ll want to see the man who named this mountain. Trust me. Frank J Haynes
I have had the opportunity to stand in this spot in the winter and spring now and still love that reflection more than ever. In the winter across from the river there was a heard of bison just chilling in the snow. It’s a pretty spot to visit on your trip to Yellowstone.
Grand Prismatic Springs is a pretty one to visit! When we went it surprisingly didn’t smell too badly of sulphur. I haven’t had a lot of experience creating panoramas so this was my chance! I won’t make the hike back up this hill to get another shot so here’s my pano that showcases the beauty of Grand Prismatic Springs in Yellowstone. I took pictures with my camera panning across the area I wanted the pano to be, brought it into camera raw and merged them and the computer stitched them together and did an incredible job.
We were blessed with one of the prettiest sunsets ever to end our Yellowstone adventure. Shooting with a large depth of field allowed this sun flare to really shine through!
One more from the gorgeous sunset, let me what you think of these photos from our Yellowstone trip in the comments!
